TOP9 fictional rides

i got the idea for this TOP9 list after i posted that catbus photo for lou. i mean, wouldn’t it be nice if we can actually ride on that catbus with totoro? then, lou mentioned the delorean from back to the future, and then boom! a nice idea for a TOP9 list. here are the TOP9 fictional rides that i wish were real:
1. doc’s delorean - back to the future
tell me, what is cooler than a car that brings you back to that moment when your parents shared their first kiss and takes you to that time when your future son got chased by a bully? well, nothing. nothing beats a vehicle that not only travels through time, but also runs on garbage. doc’s beloved delorean = eco-friendly at its finest.
2. yellow submarine - the beatles
an underwater journey with the beatles. need i say more?
3. hogwarts express - harry potter
wnanybody who has ever read the harry potter series (i assume) will do anything just to pass through that invisible barrier to enter platform 9 3/4 and travel via hogwarts express. besides, who would want to spend seven years of adventure in hogwarts?
4. santa’s sleigh - santa claus
i have always wanted to ride on santa’s sleigh ever since i watched the town santa forgot on cartoon network. if you’re not familiar with it, well it is a story of a kid named jeremy creek who transformed from being a greedy little boy to santa’s generous sidekick. yes, he was lucky enough to join old nick whenever he distributes the presents for the nice kids on christmas eve.
5. magic carpet - aladdin
the most memorable scene in aladdin is (arguably) the “a whole new world” sequence. yes, it is that musical number where the street rat and the sassy princess managed to travel across the world in just three minutes. so yeah, we have to thank the flying persian rug for making it all possible.
6. the catbus - my neighbor totoro
ah, the one that started it all. for those of you who are not familiar with hayao miyazaki’s world, the catbus is a vehicle that is used to transport totoros (and little girls in search of their missing sisters). it has a cheshire cat-like head, a furry tail, a pair of yellow eyes, and a bunch of caterpillar-like legs that allows it to run, fly, bounce, and hop. its yellow eyes, by the way, serve as the catbus’ headlights.
7. the batpod - batman
am i the only person who thinks that the batpod is way cooler than the batmobile? technically, the batpod is just a part of the batmobile: it is a motorcycle that ejects from the tumblerwhenever batman needs to avoid traffic. what makes the batpod amazing, in my opinion, is the way batman drives it: because his arms are protected by shields, batman steers the batpod using his shoulders. now, how cool is that?
8. george’s aerocar - the jetsons
i have always imagined the car of tomorrow to be like the one george jetson drives: resembles a flying saucer, features a bubble top, and turns into a luggage. yes, just one click and that aerocar that can accommodate the entire jetson family will turn into a handy suitcase.
9. kitt - knight rider
kitt is no ordinary car. sure, many cars have grappling hooks and bomb sniffers too, but can they talk? yes, kitt is a talking car. it can also see things, remember stuff, and drive itself. pretty amazing, huh?p.s. i’m currently working on a magical creature version of this :)
